Global study and countrywise deep dives for alternative offerng producers and distribution channels.. The study focused on spare parts for both our own and competitors' machines. Through our "fleet management system," we analyzed which customers are price-sensitive. We concentrated on the 10 largest markets, which account for approximately 80% of global consumption. To map alternative producers, we worked closely with local service managers. In some markets, we also engaged external market research. It was a step-by-step agile approach, considering dependencies on other projects, such as digital marketing channels.
Time required: A total of 18 months alltogether. Following this, several acquisitions have been carried out.
