By applying a lean efficient approach analyse profitable/not profitalble products. Identify none core products without a strategic importance who can be divested, closed or closed down.. The project study covered all products across all divisions. We chose to base the analysis on the available information in the business systems, such as consolidated sales value, gross profit and inventory levels. We analyzed with a holistic perspective by looking at the integration and consolidation of machines, spare parts, and consumables across the group's divisional boundaries. We set up an efficient and focused work team. In addition, we added qualitative data with a "SWOT" analysis, including assessments of softer data such as growth potential, market share, investment needs, and the product's aging in its lifecycle.
Timeframe: Despite the complexity of the project, we achieved clear, valid results in approximately eight months.
